St Anne’s Park
Wednesday night was the first match this year for our school team and it was a big test against an experienced St Anne’s Juniors.
Despite losing 9 – 1 the players put in a great performance and enjoyed the game.
We had many chances to score in the game but it looked like this was not to be until a good spell of pressure during the second half led to a fine goal by striker Sean Smith.
All of the players deserve credit for battling to the end and never giving up.
An extra mention for an outstanding performance from both Logan Cook and Harry Stewart.
