Classes - Chestnut
Miss Densley is good fun but she doesn’t allow any nonsense so you know where you are with her!
Being the oldest children in the school, Chestnut class enjoy working hard in many different ways; sometimes independently, in pairs and quite often as a group. The work is challenging so we try to use a practical approach using art and drama where possible to make it more exciting!
We have made a really good start to the year and are a bubbly and chatty class. We get on well with each other and are making good progress with our work and also with the way we are learning to solve our problems when they arise. This is important for us as we will be in Secondary School next year!
Our Class Link Governors are Tony Harris and Kelly Shearing.
About the teacher
Helene Densley
Miss Densley has been teaching at St Annes Park since 2005. She has always taught the top juniors in Chestnut Classroom and is helped out by Miss Westlake.
The children in Miss Densley’s class have to work very hard and she doesn't allow any bad behaviour to spoil the challenging lessons that she plans!!
Miss Densley really enjoys singing and helping out with the summer performances. She is also a big fan of going to camp and has been several times in the last few years.
