Classes - Willow
Willow class is the first class in the Juniors. We have Year 3 and Year 4 children in our class. Miss Lloyd is our teacher and she is really keen on Numeracy as well as Literacy and she encourages us to work really hard.
Willow class have begun learning French and often ask other people in the school questions about themselves in French! They have begun to learn African drumming each week and enjoy trying new things.
Mrs Parker and Mrs Westlake help in our class each day. They help the children who find things difficult and support the teacher.
Mrs Parker sorts out our tuck each day and takes some groups out of the class for special work. She also works in after school club and loves PE at the field with us.
Mrs Westlake helps our class in Maths and helps us complete our work.
We like our classroom because it is bright and colourful and we have some of our work on the walls. Miss Lloyd and Mrs Parker have made the displays look very bright and cheerful and have put lots of things up to support our learning. For example, if you get stuck doing your writing, you only have to look around the walls and you will find something to help you.

About the teacher
Georgina Lloyd
Miss Lloyd has been at the school since September 2001. She has taught Years 3 and 4 and also Reception and Year 1. She is our ’expert’ in Geography, History and Assessment and has helped all the staff to develop their expertise in teaching these subjects. Now she is teaching Years 3 and 4 in Willow class.
Miss Lloyd is always enthusiastic. Her favourite subjects are Numeracy, Geography and History.
In her spare time Miss Lloyd likes to play the guitar. She is even taking lessons to make her guitar playing better.
