After school Club

Colleen works in the Reception class and can also be contacted through the school office on 0117 3773185.
We take children aged 3-11 years at our After School Club takes place every school day from 3.20pm until 6.00pm. In the holidays there is a holiday club each day from 8.20am until 6.00pm.
Both of these clubs are currently subsidised and so a very reasonable price. An After School session will cost you £6.25 per child and a half day at Holiday Club is just £8.00 making it £16.00 for the whole day. You can also use Family Tax Credits to support these payments.
The Open Access Breakfast club is open from 8.20am daily where you can come and experience a FREE breakfast provided by Magic Breakfast. For working parents who need to access childcare from 8.00am we provide this at a charge of £2 per head from 8.00am until 8.20am. We do not offer this service to children in the Nursery. Provision for Nursery Children is made in the Childrens Centre. A member of staff from the Children’s Centre then brings the children to school at 8.45am.
The supervision and activities offered are top quality and we are proud of the report from OFSTED.
Many of the team of playleaders and managers are also employed in the school in other capacities and so they know the children very well. They do not do ’school type’ activities during the club though and we have been very careful to keep the equipment and toys separate from school use. It is important for children to be able to play at the end of the day and in the holidays and the staff are careful to make sure that the experience of After School Club is not like ’staying on’ at school.
Activities the children have enjoyed recently include ten pin bowling, cinema trips, trips to the local library and park as well as playing fantasy games and dressing up! During the summer holiday there was a weekly coach trip and they went to Court Farm, Avon Valley, Bristol Zoo and Horse World. During the holidays we link up with other providers in the Brislington area to go on group trips together.
