Welcome to the St. Anne’s Park Primary website
St Anne’s Park Primary is a small school in the St Anne’s Park area of East Bristol. There are currently 165 children on roll. It is a caring school where children, staff and governors work well together for the benefit of all. We welcome visitors and if you would like to find out more, do please come and see us.
Ofsted visited us in May 2006 and the report is available for all to read. The report is a good one as it shows that the school understands its strengths and areas for development and that it has the capacity to make improvements. This is exciting news following the period of very rapid change we have experienced in the last 4 years. These changes are now embedded and the school is ready to develop even further.
There is a teaching staff of 9, including the Head Teacher, and a team of support staff which is rapidly growing. We have appointed a new deputy head teacher for September 2007. We also have the benefit of a SENCO working for 3 days each week in the school without a class.
The well-being of each child as an individual is at the heart of the school and this includes health education and safety as well as aspirations for high standards of attainment. Each class has its own page on this website and more details, information and photographs can be found there.
On the 1st April 2006 our Childrens Centre opened. This has its own manager and staff team working in a section of the school buildings. The school and Childrens Centre are working together to improve life chances and opportunities for all the community. Currently this development is in its very early stages as we learn how to work together effectively with the health agencies and social services.
